Industry Fellows

In 2023, MAPSS launched a Fellows in Industry program, through which accomplished alumni in industry offer graduate-level, full-credit courses exploring the practice of social science research in the non-profit, for-profit, or government sectors. These courses are open to all MAPSS students. 

The program provides curricular opportunities that explore the ways social science research is used beyond the academy, to learn more about potential career paths, and to prepare students to enter the job market after MAPSS.

Each course offers a distinct perspective so that students learn about applied social science research methods and gain practical skills in utilizing those methods to solve real-world problems and challenges in industry settings.
